The Bridge Academy, Hackney is a mixed, non-denominational school for 11 - 18 year olds and welcomed its first intake of Year 7 girls and boys when it opened in September 2007.
We have now moved into our permanent, purpose-built home on the site of the former Laburnum Primary School, Laburnum Street, South Hackney.
By 2013 we will cater for 1,150 students, offering 900 places for 11–16 year olds and a sixth form for 250 students. Specialising in music and mathematics, we will teach a broad and rich curriculum and be a local school for students of all abilities.
